Adaptor(s)
There are three different electrical outlets in China, four if you decide to visit Hong Kong while you’re here. Bring an adapter for each one. Each plug has holes for all of these outlets, but for some inexplicable reason half of them have nothing but concrete behind them. You can never count on only one adaptor here. I bring all of them with me to the cafe just in case.
3M Mask
Smog is a big issue in China now, especially in northern China, such as Beijing and most cities in Hebei Provinces. So, a N95 mask is a must.
